Im using this as an opportunity to get creative with my work outs. It would be so easy to fall into a rut and do the same workout day after day. I stopped doing the elliptical because Im not sure what is hurting my ankle and I was pushing that pretty hard.
Instead I go upstairs and do a lot more weights and stretching. My doc told me not to walk up and down the stairs, so Im taking the elevator. Yesterday I decided to use the reclining bike to warm up. It didnt bother my ankle one bit. So Im going to do that for about 20 minutes today. The other big addition to my workout is SWIMMING! Im loving that. It feels so good to cool down after a sweaty workout. I feel like I have been using new muscles when I get out of the pool.
