Another way to measure progress is with the body mass index or BMI. Body mass index (BMI) is a measure of body fat based on height and weight. It is fun to watch your BMI go down as you weight goes down. I Googled BMI and came up with some cool
charts. My starting BMI, at 190 lbs 5'2" is 35. That puts me in the 'obese' category. In order to get to the 'overweight' category, my BMI needs to get to 29. Im now at about 30.5 because my weight is 167.5. This is just another way to watch my body change and to know that Im getting healthier by the day.
